Using the Multiswap App

The fastest way to understand Multiswap is to use it.

Open the Multiswap pool directory

Choose a testnet pool to explore the app with demonstration assets. Testnet assets have no economic value, and you will need the native testnet asset for gas.

1. Choose a pool

The Pools page groups the pools discovered onchain by network. Each row shows the pool name, symbol, epoch count, and current status.

The Multiswap pool directory, showing deployed pools across multiple networks

Choose a pool from the directory to open its workspace.

Select a pool to open its workspace. You can switch pools later using the pool selector without returning to the Pools page.

Pool status matters:

StatusWhat you can expect
Deploying or PreparedThe pool is not ready for normal use.
StartedA deposit phase is open.
SealedDeposits have ended and final settlement is pending.
Settled, Deployed, or ActiveThe pool is initialized. Multiswap and staking may be available.
RefundableDepositors can recover assets through the Deposit tab.
Archived or RefundedThe pool is historical and may be read-only.

The available tabs change with the pool state. That is intentional.

2. Read the pool overview

The asset table is the center of the app. For each Reserve Asset it can show:

  • price,
  • reserve quantity and value,
  • actual weight and target weight,
  • your wallet balance,
  • Buy and Sell actions when the pool is active.

The pool's target token is pinned above the other assets. Selecting a token's name opens its detail view.

The table is not merely a market list. The Buy and Sell buttons build the order shown in the Multiswap panel.

On desktop, the pool state and action panel remain visible together.

3. Use the pool tabs

TabPurposeWhen it appears
MultiswapBuild, quote, and execute pair or basket trades. After the pool is initialized.
PreviewExplore indicative quotes before trading opens. Before initialization. Read-only.
DepositDeposit during an open phase, claim after settlement, or request a refund when enabled.Throughout the pool lifecycle.
StakeAllocate or remove the pool token stake assigned to Reserve Assets. After initialization.
FaucetRequest demonstration assets.Supported testnets only.

On desktop, the asset table is on the left and the active task panel is on the right.

On mobile, begin in Overview to select assets. Then open the matching action view—Multiswap, Faucet, Deposit, or Stake—to enter amounts and submit. If you cannot find an asset inside the action card, return to Overview and select it there.

You do not need to connect a wallet to explore Multiswap or build quotes. Start disconnected:

  1. Choose an initialized testnet pool from the pool directory.
  2. Select one asset to sell and one asset to buy, enter an amount, and inspect the quote.
  3. Add a second Buy asset and try a basket trade.
  4. Expand Quote Details and inspect the pre-trade price, post-trade price, price impact, value flow, and minimum amount received.
  5. Explore the Stake, Deposit, and Faucet tabs to see the other pool workflows.
  6. When you are ready to submit a transaction, connect your wallet and get testnet assets.
  7. Execute a trade, then try staking in an initialized pool.

A wallet is required only when you request testnet assets or submit a transaction.
